The Clamcleat® CL715 Alloy Insert cleat is designed to fit into a plastic moulding to combine the strength of an alloy cleat with the lower cost of a moulded component. Used in windsurf mast bases for downhaul tensioning and booms for outhaul tensioing.  It can also be inserted into other materials, such as wood.
